New Date! Community Patterns: A Night of Music, Artmaking & Socially-Distant Togetherness

 New Date- August 20th, 2020!

Join us for Community Patterns: A Night of Music, Artmaking & Socially-Distant Togetherness on Thursday, August 13th from 5 – 8 PM. In an effort to promote group healing and understanding, Oluwafemi, philly-based DJ and artist, will provide the music while Megan Mitts, local art therapist and community art facilitator, leads attendees in a community art project that responds to the music and encourages safe collaboration. $40 registration includes one parking spot (max of 4 individuals in each car) and all art supplies. Individuals are encouraged to bring food and beverages for their own consumption. We are only utilizing every other parking spot, so attendees will be safely social distant from one another. By the end of the night, together we will have created a repeated decorative design that will be displayed at the Art Center. Come reconnect with your neighbors in a welcoming and safe social environment! Please bring a donation to benefit the Ada Mutch Food Pantry, run by ElderNet of Bryn Mawr. Donations can include canned and jarred fruit and meats, pasta, rice other grains, soups, condiments, paper products and toiletries.
If you would like to attend, but cost is a barrier, please contact Intisar Hamilton at ihamilton@mainlineart.org. A limited number of discounted spots have been reserved, so that all members of our community can attend.Join us for Community Patterns: A Night of Music, Artmaking & Socially-Distant Togetherness on Thursday, August 13th from 5 – 8 PM.
