This is an approach to batik technique that resembles watercolor painting using a resist. My particular method takes traditional batik and transforms it. I use brushes, but have traditional tools for students to try on stretched silk, using molten wax and fabric dyes. This is a fine art approach to a traditional method of fabric decoration.
